We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2020, at the age of 80, Joan Schrecengost (Fairplay, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Fairman and Elizabeth Fairman (Hall); her former husband Edward Carmichael; her son John Carmichael; and her siblings, Oliver Fairman, Iris Hambleton, Winifred Broomhead, Lloyd Fairman, Margaret Steele, Ernest Fairman and Patrick Fairman.
She is survived by: her husband Tom G. Schrecengost; her children, Debra Kisas (Bill), Paul Carmichael (Mary) and Andrew Carmichael (Lucinda); her sisters, Greta Bradshaw and Maureen Baker; her grandchildren, Jonathan Kisas (Aspen), Elizabeth Rapalus (Paul), Tammy Edwards (Jeremiah), Amanda Carmichael and Shannon Carmichael; and her great grandchildren, Charlize Edwards, Ladasha Carmichael and Lily Rapalus.
