It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Terry Laird Sr. of Ewell, Maryland, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Laird and Mina Rae Marshall Laird; his wife Donna Jean Bradshaw Laird; his brother Larry R. Laird, Sr.; his sisters-in-law, Marilou Sterling and Debbie Laird; his nephews, David Sterling and Steven Sterling; and his close friends, Mildred Tyler, Gary Tull and Larry Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Terry Laird, Jr. (Danielle) of Ewell and Ruth Ann Smith (Lee) of Tylerton; his brother Tony B. Laird of Crisfield; his stepgrandchildren, Julianne, William and Collin; his siblings-in-law, Marge Laird and Richard Sterling; his nieces and nephews, Larry R. Laird, Jr. (Patti), Paula R. Harrison (Buck), Randy Swift (Nicole), Diane Maguire (Bob) and Doreen Sterling; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harold Frock (Jennifer), Tim Frock (Amanda), Taylor Laird, Kara Harrison (Dustin Townsend), Wyatt Harrison, Caitlin Shook (Keith), Kristen Chesser, Maura Maguire, David Maguire, Crystal Gleason, Christopher Sterling, Genna Barlow, Erin Moger, Kathleen Sterling and Isaac Sterling; his extended family, Dixie Larrimore, Betty Jo Tyler and Alan Wade Tyler; and his close friend Mary Ruth Evans.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Fellowship Bible Church (5910 Crisfield Hwy, Marion Station, MD 21838). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to Ewell United Church, Ewell, MD 21824.
