Elmer Wesley Evans Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 84, Elmer Wesley Evans of Ewell, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Wesley Evans to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Francis and Anna Rose Jones Evans; his brothers, Eddie Evans, Sr., Dennis Evans and Clayton Evans; his son-in-law Lex Maloney; and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Marshall and Bill Dize.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Somers Evans of Ewell; his children, Sherry Evans Maloney of Salisbury and Buddy Evans (Laura) of Ewell; his grandson Caleb Evans (Taylor) of Westover; his great grandchildren, Reed and Cade Evans of Westover; his sisters, Mary Ada Marshall of Tylerton and Jennifer Dize of Ewell; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Evans (Eugene) of Marion, June Evans of Ewell and Donna Crockett of Tangier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ewell United Church.
