She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Russell Jones and Anna Elizabeth Brimer Jones; her son Benjamin Preston "Benji" Evans; her brother-in-law Richard Alan Smith; her nephew Eddie Russ Smith; and her great-niece Shelby Faye Marsh.
She is survived by: her husband Jennings Lee Evans, Sr.; her son Jennings Lee Evans, Jr. of Salisbury; her sisters, Hester Ann Smith of Tylerton and Helen Faye Bradshaw (Clyde Wesley) of Ewell; her nieces and nephews, Alan Lee Smith of Tylerton, Leslie Faye Marsh (Donnie) of Rhodes Point and Deacon Smith Hunter of Tylerton; and her great-nephews, Daniel Edward Smith (Taylor) of Tylerton, Dustin Evans Smith of Tylerton, Bobby Gene Smith (Kristen) of Marion and Lee Smith (Ruth Ann) of Tylerton.
