He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Smith and Nina Ruth Somers Smith. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Lee Evans Smith of Ewell; his sons, Billy Matthew "Matt" Smith (Amy) of Westover and Steven Smith of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Ciara Smith, Brianna Smith, Hannah Sherrill, Kyle Mills and Andrew Mills; his great grandchild Odin Sherrill; and his siblings, Dixie Larrimore (Jack) of Easton and Edwin "Smitt" Smith, III (Cindy) of Lusby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
