He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Krystal Zook and Michael Zook Jr.; and his siblings, Jack Horner, Pat Horner, Marlene Anderson and Jean Hartley.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Horner; his sister Madeline "Gerri" Nicholson; his children, Dawn Amig, Michael Zook Sr. and Constance Altland (Scott); and his grandchildren, Martina Bush (Jeremiah Bush), Elizabeth Amig (James Moore), Brittany Mitcheltree (John Mitchelltree), Sandra Simms (Jamar Simms), Amanda Shiflett (James Shiflett), Breeanna Altland, Hunter Altland and Scott Altland Jr.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex (300 Mace Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
