She was predeceased by: her parents, Gretel Agnes Schmidt (Balasus) and Konrad Kurt Schmidt; and her brother-in-law Tom Gill. She is survived by: her husband Gary Doehring of Essex; her siblings, George Schmidt (Martha) of Sykesville and Heidi Schmidt of Finksburg; her niece Jessica Schmidt-Bonifant (Bobby); and her great-nephew Graham.
