It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Catron Smith (Essex, Maryland), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Keith Smith; his parents, Claude Smith and Pat Smith; his sister Glenda Locklear; and his granddaughters, Grace and Savannah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jaime Skalla (Mark), Caty Wilson (Keith) and Cristy Hickson (David Pratico); his grandchildren, Laila, Cayden, Kylie, Jaylan, Jayden and Everley; his sister Linda Mattio (Jack); his brother-in-law Ted Locklear; his cousin Karen Wells (Jim); his aunt Betty Whisman (Jim); his nieces, Adena Perkins (Jason) and Kami Locklear; and his nephew Vince Mattio (Corie). He is also survived by many cousins and great-nieces/nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM.
