He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Ray and Ines Marie Kise Shepard; and his siblings, Tracy L. Shepard Sr., Howard Shepard (Hap), Dorothy L. Shepard (Dottie), Janet M. Anders and Helen Mullins.
He is survived by: his spouse DeDe Shepard; his stepchildren, John R. Mitchell (Sherri) of Abingdon, Ronald L. Girard of Joppa, Michele Arcilesi (Paul) of Perry Hall and Barbara Rohe (Doug) of Abingdon; and his siblings, Grover Ray Shepard of Florida, Robin Ray Shepard of Edgewood, Gail Young of Joppatowne and Rhonda Bundrick of Essex. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.
