With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Claire Gain of Essex, Maryland, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Strozyk, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Anna Strozyk,; her brothers, Ray and Ted; her significant other John Gain (Ray); her sister Claire; her niece Ashley; her great-nieces, Destiny and Annabelle; her children, Larry Gain, Randy Gain (Linda), Dawn Dixon (Wayde) and Brenda Hancock (Craig); her grandchildren, Holly, Krystal, Luke, Kyra, Victoria, Brandon, Tyler, Breanna, Collin, Noah, Hannah and Callan; and her great grandchildren, Bennett, Jaxon, Maisie, Sage, Grady, Coleson and Wrenly.
In lieu of flowers, please tell someone you love them, tell someone you forgive them, give as many hugs to family and friends as you can, and simply show the love, kindness and generosity that Dolores showed, using her examples and following her lead.
