He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Hoke and Effie Eyler Hoke; his wife Ethel Grace; and his siblings, John Hoke, Elizabeth Summers, Rebekah Gingell and Ann Hull.
He is survived by: his children, John Hoke (June) and Rebecca "Becki" Willard. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and numerous, nieces and nephews.
