She is survived by: her children, Wanda Estelle Akiyama (Donald), Denise Warthen McCarthy (Kirk), Robert Douglas Warthen (Sue) and Daniel Allen Warthen (Catherine); her grandchildren, Benjamin Akiyama, Emily Akiyama, Andrew Warthen, Amanda Warthen, Justin Warthen, Peter Warthen and Sara Warthen; her great grandchild Houston; and her brothers, Anthony Funk and Ronald Funk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Mrs. Warthen's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul Street, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
