She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Allan Gelwicks and Mary Frances Gelwicks (Spalding); and her spouse Dale Arthur Shields Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane Wivell (Steve), Joyce Engelstatter (Gerolf), Dale, Jr. (Linda) and David (Mary Anne); and her grandchildren, Stephen, Mary Fran, Jennifer, Julie, Markus, Becca, Jeremy, Kathy, Caroline, David and Kimberly.
