She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward John Smith and Ruth Marie Smith (Riffle); her former husband Pinkey Richardson; her husband Harry Hoff; her daughter Mary Jane Powell; her granddaughter Patty Powell; and her siblings, Charles, Jim, Ed Jr., Carl, Richard, Arthur Smith, Mary Krom, Helen Althoff and Betty Hahn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Hobbs of Emmitsburg and Lewis Smith of Rocky Ridge; her stepson Tom Hoff of Clarksville; and her grandchildren, Cindy Powell and Page Powell of Baltimore. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
