He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard and Helen Howard; and his siblings, Edward, William, John Howard, Anna Ervin and Doris Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Howard Wiest; his children, Kenneth E. Howard, Joseph K. Howard, Mary B. Shriner (David) and Amy E. Castillo (Jose); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Joshua, Bethany, William, Matthew, Andrew, Luci, Tina and Hannah; and his sisters, Shirley Summers, Joan Summers and Nancy Howard. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
