He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob and Pauline B. Hollinger (Havner); his wife Mary Theresa Hollinger (Peters); and his sons, Gregory Hollinger and Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his children, John S. Hollinger, Jr. of Ione, CA, Steven Hollinger of Emmitsburg, Bruce Hollinger (Cheri) of Fairfield, PA, Sandra Feeser of Emmitsburg and Doug Hollinger (Kay) of Emmitsburg; his sister Betty Ann Baker of Emmitsburg; and his grandchildren, Steven Feeser II, Tasha Arvin, Tyler Hollinger, Nikki Knoedler, Landon Hollinger and Paulina Hollinger.
