We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Joan Smith of Emmitsburg, Maryland, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Little and Marie Little (Anders); her siblings, Gerry Hewitt, Larry Little, Leon Anders and Christina Little; and her brothers-in-law, Buzz Orndorff, Fritz Grimm and Robert Manahan.

She is survived by: her husband David E. Smith; her daughter Tonya Wantz (Christopher); her grandson Connor Wantz; her siblings, Richard Little, Mary Jean Orndorff, Joyce Grimm, Carolyn Smith (Karl), Dave Little (Charlene), Beth Little-Terry (Leonard) and Elaine Ebaugh (Denny); her siblings-in-law, Judy Manahan, Sandy Anders, Shirley Little and Monroe Hewitt; and her close friend Shirley Freshman.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service will be held on Thursday.
