It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Topper of Emmitsburg, Maryland, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll C. Topper and Gladys Topper (Kelly); his wife Edna Topper; his siblings, Wilbur Topper, Tom Topper, Judy Ott and Linda Kreitz; and his stepson Dana Brockman.
He is survived by: his children, Francis Topper, Jr. of Fairfield, PA, Karen McDannell of Emmitsburg, Susan Swartz of Gettysburg, Ronald Topper of Sharpsburg and Darian Topper of West Virginia; his stepdaughter Tina Benesch of Littlestown, PA; and his sister Betty Topper of Gettysburg, PA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date.
