It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L. Stouter of Emmitsburg, Maryland, born in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ignatius Stouter and Delma Fisher (Sites); his son David Vincent Stouter; and his sisters, Donna Angelilli and Juanita Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Dixson; his children, Larry (Maureen) of Emmitsburg, Steve (Tammie) of Emmitsburg, Theresa Bidle (Jay Bidle) of Middletown, MD, Dianne Webber (Scott Webber) of Moneta, VA, Mike (Veronica) of Fairfield, PA and Rob (Becky) of Emmitsburg; his daughter-in-law Kelley Stouter of Emmitsburg; his grandchildren, John Stouter, Jennifer Hudgins (Stouter), Micah "Ryleigh" Stouter, Daniel Stouter, Erik Stouter, Stephanie Bidle, Stephen Webber, Jason Webber, Garrett Zimmerman, Sarah Stouter, Victoria Stouter, Juliette Stouter, Kaitlin Stouter, Chase Stouter, Shannon Sayler (Monahan), Rachael Stouter and Meghan Weaver (Stouter); and his sister Janet Saneman (Dave Saneman) of Forest Hill, Maryland.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
