With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Joy (Emmitsburg, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 28, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Grant Long; her spouse John Richard Joy; and her siblings, Beulah Motter, Evelyn Rohrbaugh, Ethel Hoke, Leonard, Carl and Donald Long.
She is survived by: her parent Emma Grace Long (Miller); her daughter Deborah Valentine (Tim) of Fairfield, PA; her grandsons, Gene Valentine (Catherine) of Fairfield, PA and Nick Valentine of Fairfield, PA; her great grandchildren, Cody Valentine, Breana Valentine, Ashlyn Valentine and Addisyn Valentine; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Long of Emmitsburg, Gloria Bauerline of Emmitsburg, Tom Hoke of Emmitsburg, Joseph Joy of Baltimore, Donald Joy (Bernadette) of Westminster and Mike Joy (Pat) of Emmitsburg.
