He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Carpenter and Verda Carpenter (Hensley); and his daughter Anita Hope Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Anna Ruth Carpenter (Seal); his daughter Carolyn Ann Carpenter; his siblings, Elma Ruth Dalton, Keith Dale Carpenter and Lana Sue Parson; his brother-in-law Luther Seal; and his siblings, Opal Lavada Krill, Coy Preston Carpenter, Jack Arville Carpenter, Wayland Elmo Carpenter, Curtis Darrell Carpenter, Ruby Fern Jones, Avery Burl Carpenter, Larry Fayne Carpenter, Alonzo Dean Seal and Inell Seal Wolfe (David Lee Seal). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Slack Funeral Home (3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
