He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Donna M. Melton (Alton, Jr.), Thomas M. Tasselmyer (Laurie), Judith M. Oehler (Kevin) and Lynn M. Olson (Steven); and his brother Steven Tasselmyer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 more great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church (3755 St Paul St, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (800 Blk. of Sanderson St.).
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Tasselmyer's family requests that memorial contributions in his name be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (http://www.mda.org).
