He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur and Anna Skowronek; his brother Rudolf; his wife Marie Klaus of Baltimore; his children, Karlheinz Skowronek (Maria), Kurt-Juergen Skowronek (Nicole) and Elisabeth Czaja (Ed); his grandchildren, Alex Skowronek, Eric Czaja, Elaina Skowronek, Brendan Skowronek, Emily Czaja, Lorelei Skowronek, Peter Czaja, Katerina Skowronek, Mathilda Skowronek, Leopold Skowronek and Konrad Skowronek; his nieces and nephews, Anneliese Emerson, Gisela Newbegin, Rita, Helmut Scheja, Sabine Grassinger and Ulrike Hofer; and his sister-in-law Karoline Skowronek of Trasselberg, Germany..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Shrine of Saint Anthony (Howard County), St. Paul's Catholic Church (Ellicott City) or Saint Casimir's Catholic Church (Baltimore).
