We bid farewell to Richard J. McCloskey (Ellicott City, Maryland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McCloskey and Loretta McCloskey; his sister Kathie Decker; and his daughter Lisa Georgules. He is survived by: his wife Lynn; and his son Paul. He is also survived by children; as well as Lisa's husband and daughter.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home (4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Columbia Memorial Park (12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029).
