She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Thorpe and Maggie Beasley; her husbands, Frederick Marsh and Eugene Blackstone; and her siblings, A. William, Arthur N., Norman T. Thorpe and Harriett H. Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick Marsh Jr. (Victoria) and Kristal Charles (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Jasmyn, Corinn, Simone, Frederick Ajani, Dominic and Zuri. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A wake will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Johns Baptist Church (9055 Tamar Dr, Columbia, MD 21045). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Parklawn Memorial Park (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853).
