Joan Schenk Tintle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Schenk Tintle of Ellicott City, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Schenk Tintle to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph (Lola Waldele) and NJ; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy, Peter, Doug and Mary; her friends, Pat Finnegan and Sandy Barr; her husband David Tintle; her former husband Jim Schenk Sr. (Peggy Schenk); her grandsons, Nick, Jackson and Doug Jr. (Christine); her great grandchild Mason; and also, Chloe, Tripp, Tucker, Timmy (Emily Cummings) and Doug Schenk.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home (4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Louis Cemetery.
