We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 93, Harvey Ernest Rice Jr. (Ellicott City, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Harvey may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas Aaron Rice; and his parents, Harvey E. Rice, Sr. and Myrtle J. Rice. He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Rice; and his children, Cynthia Hall of Arnold, Steven Rice and Brian Rice. He is also survived by his six siblings, and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to Harvey's heart.
