Grace E. Goedeke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace E. Goedeke (Ellicott City, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Holtz and Viola Holtz; her husband William Lee Goedeke, Sr.; and her son William Lee Goedeke, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, H. Scott Goedeke (Rebecca Goedeke), Barbara Talbott and Janice Goedeke; her grandchildren, Alan Talbott (Sylvia), Catriela Cohen, Jonathan Goedeke (Nadia), Nathan Goedeke and Joanna Schachtner (Micah); and her great grandchildren, Alex Talbott, Denise Largaespada and David Goedeke.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home (4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
