It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles M. Harris Sr. (Ellicott City, Maryland), born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Harris and Leonard Harris. He is survived by: his wife Janet Rose Newsom; his children, Charlie Jr. (Jenny) and Jennifer Karsner (Scott); his grandchildren, Zachary, Brady, Peter, Grace and Mark; and his siblings, Kay Walton, Leonard Harris, Tom Harris (Midge), Davy Harris (Deb), Danny Harris, Sally Muckey, Roy Harris (Denise) and Jola Carnes (Billy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Army Emergency Relief or Bethany United Methodist Church.
