She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry William Merkel, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Merkel (Butler); her husband Ernest Corbin, Sr.; her son Ernest Corbin, Jr.; her siblings, Harry Merkel, Jr., Thomas Merkel and Kay LaBonte; and her grandchildren, Michael Corbin, Jr. and Christine Conrey.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Corbin (Angela) and Jeffrey Corbin; and her siblings, Carol Dawson and Darrell Merkel (Joan). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to Ellerslie United Methodist Church 14307 Temple St NW Ellerslie, MD 21502.
