He is survived by: his wife Charlene Ganzmann Harter; his daughter Sherri Harter (Bill Hall) of Elkton, MD; his stepdaughters, Michele Ferruccio Culley (Gene) of Elkton, MD and Amy Ferruccio Simmons of Ashburn, VA; his son-in-law Michael Simmons of Ashburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Culley of Elkton, MD, Sarah Harter of Elkton, MD, Jordan Culley (Jordan Brockell) of Elkton, MD, Lindsay Simmons Hill (John) of Ocala, FL, Lauren Simmons of Ashburn, VA and Luke Thomas Simmons of Ashburn, VA; his great grandchild Oliver Eugene McQuerrey of Elkton, MD; his siblings, Gary Harter (Gloria) of Perryville, MD and Michelle Wuerstlin (Fred) of Falling Waters, WV; and his sister-in-law Terry Dennison (Jim) of Elkton, MD..
