She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Rineholt Simmons; and her siblings, Steven Simmons and Renate Simmons. She is survived by: her father Joseph C. Simmons; her daughter Shannon Barr (Ronald Odom) of North East, MD; her granddaughter Julia Barr of North East, MD; and her sister Aleicia McDonald of Marydel, DE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
