Walter Dale Ferguson Sr. Obituary

Walter Dale Ferguson, Sr. "Burr Head", age 66 of Elkton, MD passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. He was born in Wilmington, DE on February 21, 1957, to the late Harold Edward Ferguson and Betty Lorraine (Wingard) Ferguson.
Dale retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He enjoyed truck pulling, attending the Cecil County Fair, fishing, and time spent in his vegetable garden. Dale loved coaching both of his kids little league teams when they were younger and passed his passion for truck pulling onto them.
Survivors include his daughter Mandy Jones (Craig), son W.D. Ferguson (Vanessa), granddaughters Audrey and Violet Ferguson, sister Sharon Dudkewitz (Jay).
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Payton B. Jones
A celebration of Dale's life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11 am at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD where family and friends may begin visiting at 10 am. Please attend in your casual attire. Burial will follow at Head of Christiana Cemetery.
