She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Alvis Russell, Sr. and Alice Emily Russell (Hamilton); her husband Robert H. Dunlap; and her grandson Kyle Ryan Gregg. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Dunlap, Jr., Barry Dunlap (Ruth), Donna Gregg (Glenn), Beth Dunlap, Barbara Smith (Steve) and Dana Litzenberg (Albert); her grandchildren, John Dunlap II, Stephen Smith II, Robbie Dunlap III, Mike Dunlap, Zach Smith and Lindsay Hodge; and her pet Sammy. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to "The Amedisys Foundation" and sent in care of the funeral home.
