Rooby Allen McCraw Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rooby Allen McCraw of Elkton, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rooby Allen McCraw to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCraw and Lucy McCraw (Johnson); his wife Elmira "Sis" McCraw; and his son Richard Allen McCraw. He is survived by: his children, Robert McCraw and Carol Sue McCraw of Elkton; his grandchildren, Christopher Gaspare (Brandie Biddy) of Elkton and Andrea McCraw-Darr (Roy); his great grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Brianna Polston and Bailey Sperry of Stephens City, VA.; his nephew Robert "Skip" Nickle, Jr. of Newark, DE; and his sister-in-law Betty Sharmose of Elkton, MD..

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Crouch Funeral Home (127 S Main St, North East, MD 21901). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North East Methodist Cemetery (101 Cemetery Road, North East, MD 21901).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rooby may be made to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
