It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert John Poorman of Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Poorman and Mary Maney Poorman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hall Poorman; his children, Connie Lewis (Peter) of Elkton, MD, James Poorman of Chesapeake City, MD, Vicki Hall (Brian) of Elkton, MD, Richard Banks Jr. (Katherine) of Newark, DE, Joanna Banks of Elkton, MD and Jaimee Staton of Newark, DE; and his sister Carol Ludwig (David). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
