She was predeceased by: her father Sylvester Patterson; her husband Thomas Welch; and her son George "Tommy" Welch. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Welch and Eric Welch (Kathy); her grandchildren, Thomas Welch (Christina), Erica Welch, Shaun Veasey, Taylor Devonshire (Frank) and Brandon Veasey; her great grandchildren, Savea Kachnovitz and Parker Devonshire; and her siblings, Arlene Fitzwater and Richard Patterson.
