She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Sr. Lester and Beatrice Charles Lester; her husband Garnet Dickens Sr.; her son Garnet Dickens Jr.; and her brothers, Jimmy Lester Jr. and Darrell Lester.
She is survived by: her son Ira Lee Dickens (Samantha) of Elkton, MD; her grandchildren, Ira Jr. and Roman; her uncle Roger Lester (Ginny); her aunt Brenda Bonsall (Jerry); and her nephew Jimmy Lester III.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (725 W Pulaski Hwy, Elkton, MD 21921). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Gilpin Manor Memorial Park (198 Appleton Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
