He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thereay Ivey and Ruby Ivey; his wife Monika Visser Ivey; his siblings, Nanette (Charles Gouge) and Jerry (Roxanne Ivey); his children, Michael Don Ivey Jr. (Kristin Stuhler) and Shelia Theresa Ivey; his grandchildren, Katelyn Longenecker and Michael Don Ivey III (Rebecca Doman); his great grandchild Mason Don Ivey; his stepson Kris (Brandi); and his sister-in-law Shirley Visser Furjanic.
