With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Emma Smith of Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Welch and Martha Simpers Welch; her husband Joseph Smith; and her siblings, Edith Dvorak, George and Lewis Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Smith (Donna) of Elkton and Sandra Smith Sniegowski (Jack) of Elkton; her grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Jr. and Susan Smith Gary; her great grandchildren, Breana, Caleb, Hailey Smith, Shailynn and Bryson Gary; and her great great grandchildren, Ansley, Harlow and Brinleigh.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers; or to Singerly Fire Company, in care of the funeral home at the above address.
