He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nester; his children, James Berry, Denise Piemontese (Mike), Karen McFadden, Sharon Johnson, Rhonda Truitt (Shawn), Stephanie Beamer (Tony) and Geri Varell (Bob); his siblings, Howard Nester, Ralph Nester, Nita Barben, Donna Wilson and Sara Nesbitt; and his friend Eugene Knowles. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
