She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gibbs and Mary Gibbs; her close friend William Johnson Sr.; her children, Leroy Sewell Jr., Patricia Garnett and Mary Edna Green; her granddaughter LaQueena Johnson; and her siblings, Elizabeth Banks, Daisy Moore, Dorothy Gibbs, Arthur Gibbs, Harry Gibbs, Arlessia Coates, Thomas Gibbs and Gertrude Terrell.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Johnson; her children, Colburn Sewell Sr. (Regina), William Johnson Jr. (Dawn), Daris Johnson Sr. (Brenda) and Constance Sewell; and her brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Johnson (Alona) and Calvin Johnson.
