He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Boykin Sr. and Gloria Boykin; his siblings, Wanda Boykin and Donald Boykin; and his daughter Cinquetta Lynn Boykin.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Boykin; his grandchildren, Azirah, Xavier and Zion; his stepsons, Timothy Webster (Paula), Troy Neal and Devine Bullock; his brother Tyrone Boykin; his aunts and uncles, John Boykin, Everett White, Katie Evens, Patricia Burgess, Rev. Jesse L. Boykin and Mary Boykin; his goddaughters, Valerie and Barbara Martin; and his close friends, James Evans and John Braywood. He is also survived by step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, counsins, and friends.
