She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Jones and Dorothy Jones (Mason); her brother Norman Jones; and her husband Charles Hobart. She is survived by: her daughter Katherine "Katy" Hurd of Huntersville, NC; her son-in-law Michael Hurd; and her grandchildren, Emily Hurd of Boone, NC and Charles "Ike" Hurd of Huntersville, NC.
