She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Tilman Johnson and Mildred Johnson; her former husband H. Ernest Foster, Jr.; and her brother Thomas Johnson. She is survived by: her partner Mickey Williams; her son Bryan E. Foster, MD; and her brother Tilman Johnson, Jr. of Annapolis, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home at the above address.
