He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Barton and Grace Barton; his son Gary Lee Barton of Harlan, KY; his brother Chester Barton; and his grandson Ryan Fahringer (Billie Jean Barton).
He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Hamilton; and his children, Connie Shotwell (Barry) of Newark, DE and Larry Jr. (Becky) of Elkton, MD.. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
