He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Fischer, Sr. and Assunta "Jennie" Fischer (Giordano). He is survived by: his wife Sara Fischer; his siblings, Joseph M. Fischer, Jr. (Elinor), Elizabeth "Betty" Sanders and Robert Fischer (Maureen); and his aunt Della Sartin.
