We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2024, at the age of 67, Kathleen Frances Yildirim of Elkton, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ellwood and Kathryn Ferrese Ellwood; and her siblings, Helen Dunlap and Baxter Ellwood. She is survived by: her husband Receb Yildirim; her daughters, Lisa Horsmon, Kathryn Bekka (Youssef) of Elkton, MD and Mary Puckett (Korey) of Bel Air, MD; her stepson Davon Morton of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, Erica Horsmon-Spangler, Jordan Horsmon, Soumia Bekka-Kenenske (Zaavan), Sofia Bekka, Selma Bekka, Aubrey Puckett and Aria Puckett; her great grandchild Layla Copping; and her siblings, Barbara Willen, Theresa Ellwood, Norma Cox, Michael Ellwood and Patricia McKeown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or checks payable to Mary Puckett for a foundation to be created in Kathleen's name by her daughters and granddaughters continuing her annual "blessings" to members of the community, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals, P.A. at the above address.
