He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Monroe Waddell and Clarine Newsome (Patrick); and his wife Mary Jo Waddell (Tyrrell). He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Waddell of North East, MD; his grandchildren, Michael Todd Shea of Elkton, MD, Cody Shea Christopher Shea (Missy) of Elkton, MD and Jasmin Hoistad of Lansdale, PA; and his siblings, Linda Golt of Boiling Springs, SC, Joyce Waddell Webb of Dallas, GA, Ronald Waddell of Charlestown, MD and Jerry Newsome of Wilmington, DE..
