He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Broomell Sr. and Shirley Eller; his grandparents, Clarence and Anna Elizabeth Broomell of Oxford, PA.; his wife Jean Romanek Broomell; his children, Jami Squitieri (David) of Elkton, MD and Joshua Broomell (Patty) of Elkton, MD; his grandchildren, Avery Squitieri, Luciano Squitieri and Lex Ray; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Lee, Deborah Wood, Dominick, Anna and Roman Massimiano; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Lena Romanek. He was also cherished by his wife and children.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Patriots Glen National Golf Club to fund their youth golf program at 300 Patriots Way, Elkton, MD 21921.
